grandma era blog

Spring is usually my season. This year feels different. It IS different. Grief and mental health and life changes... Here's my plan for emerging from winter slumber into a softer & more intentional Spring season.
I was inspired to create a guest book for grief. It's a little project that seems important to me. I can't wait to open it up weeks from now and find that I'm not alone in my grief.
Since I've been reading and taking notes, there's been little about his work that I'm changing. But during one scene, it was clear dad had never experience the emotion needed to express little Angie's feelings and reactions. How could he - grandpa (his dad) is still alive and well! I was intimately familiar with the experience, the emotion, the grief.
You already know about this precious gift from dad, but I haven't really explained why it's the perfect gift for a grieving daughter. And why I have so much to add.
